Οur rotary chimney cap uses the wind’s force to improve the chimney draught. The “turbine” always rotates in the same direction, independently of the strength or the direction of the wind. The Spinning cowl arranges an ideal combustion and besides it protects the chimney from outside influences like rain or snow. Suitable for use with coal, wood, gas, oil and smokeless fuels.
The mechanism consists of stainless steel material A.I.S.I 304 and includes Bearings immersed in a grease bath to provide superior lubrication.
Our rotary chimney cap improves the chimney in a simple , efficient and economical way iimproving the chimney and preventing the appearance of problems.
Our rotary chimney cap is mounted onto the chimney without the requirement of further additions onto the chimney itself.
Our rotary chimney cap is made of a stainless steel fin system which begins to rotate with minimum air movement. The spindle in the centre contains double ball bearings in a grease bath, providing smooth rotation.
This system is completely independent and does not require any additional power source.
The rotary cap can be easily removed. It does not create an obstacle for the chimney sweep.
Experience has shown that although the widely used chimney roofs fulfil their purpose in preventing the entrance of rain and moisture, they also create a barrier for the exiting fumes and a build-up of heat. An improper barrier like that can be replaced with a rotary chimney cap any time.
